Areas
All scientific aspects of the composition of human foods will be considered, including new methods of analysis; data on composition of foods; studies on the production, compilation and dissemination of food composition data; studies on the statistics and distribution of such data and data systems; and studies related to data use, including nutritional epidemiology, clinical research, biodiversity, ecosystems, food security and food trade
Biodiversity will be the dominant theme, and therefore research papers on the composition of wild, underutilized and uncommon species and varieties will be given particular attention, as will papers on ecosystems and environmental influences on composition and the contributions of these foods to nutritional improvements
Program
The final program has been decided by the Scientific Advisory Committee and it consists of oral presentations and poster sessions
Official language
The official language of the Conference is English. There will be no simultaneous translation during the Conference
